Air defence downs over 20 Russian targets over Kyiv

Air defence systems destroyed more than 20 Russian targets in Kyiv's airspace on the night of 29-30 August and the morning of 30 August.

Details: First, the Russians used strike UAVs (as per the information available, they used Shahed loitering munitions).

Several groups of drones were heading for Kyiv from different directions.

Soon after, missiles launched from Tu-95MS strategic aircraft flew at the capital.

All in all, over 20 Russian targets were destroyed by air defence forces.

Debris fell in several districts of the capital.

Some people were also killed.
