The Russian occupying authorities have replaced a span on the Crimean bridge which had collapsed after an attack by uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) during a special operation by the Ukrainian Navy and security services.

Details: The journalists discovered the installation of the span by comparing satellite images from Planet.com dated 3 and 5 September. Earlier, barges had been placed south of the bridge, expected to form the basis of a barrier designed to prevent similar attacks in the future.

Previously: On 21 July, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Crimean bridge was a legitimate target for Ukraine, as the Russians use it to transport weapons. He added that this target should be neutralised.
