Ukrainian Navy comments on plans of possible destruction of Crimean Bridge
Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, has said that Ukrainian defenders will finally destroy the Kerch (Crimean) Bridge when the situation requires it.

Quote: "Unlike the Russians, we are not attached to symbolic things. This helps a lot when fighting with limited resources. If they have the task of capturing something somewhere for the birthday of the so-called president of the Russian Federation, we do not act like that. And it makes our tasks a little easier. Therefore, this (Crimean) Bridge will be destroyed, but it will be destroyed when the situation requires it."
Details: Pletenchuk says that the main purpose of the bridge's existence is the logistical support of the grouping of the occupying forces in Crimea itself and the grouping on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Pletenchuk emphasised that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will destroy the bridge "when it is necessary to cut off the logistical tails of Crimea and make it an island." "That is why we should wait for the right moment," the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy said.
