Russian Defence Minister brings up negotiations about Ukraine again

Sergey Shoigu, Russia's Minister of Defence, claimed that his country is ready for political discussions about "post-conflict regulation concerning Ukraine" and "further co-existence with the West".

Quote: "Since we may need to create corresponding circumstances, we remain prepared for realistic political discussions both dedicated to the post-conflict regulation of the Ukrainian crisis and to the parameters of further co-existence with the West in general."

Details: Shoigu cynically called to "unite the efforts of all interested countries" in order to form a "far and multi-faceted world order and update the architecture of international security."

Background: On 18 October, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine was supposedly already thinking about negotiations with Russia.
