They all expressed unconditional support for Israel's right to defend itself if necessary."

Details: Zelenskyy later said that Netanyahu told him about the situation in Israel during an emergency phone call. He also explained what actions the country’s armed forces and the law enforcement forces were undertaking to repel the attack.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "We stand in solidarity with Israel, which is facing a brutal and large-scale attack, and we express our condolences regarding [the attack’s] countless casualties. It is currently crucial that Israeli police and Ukrainian diplomats work together to ensure the safety and protection of Ukrainian citizens in Israel.

We have discussed the effects of the attack on Israel on the security situation in the region and beyond."
