Russian missile attack on Selydove, Donetsk Oblast: at least 2 killed

Russian invaders have fired on a residential building in the town of Selydove in Donetsk Oblast at night, resulting in the collapse of the entrance, killing two people, injuring several residents, and other people are being searched for under the rubble.

Quote from Klymenko: "Last night (14-15 November − ed.), the enemy launched a missile attack on the town of Selydove in Pokrovsk district in Donetsk Oblast. As a result, the entrance of a 4-storey residential building was destroyed.

Rescue workers also helped three people, including a child, get out of a damaged flat on the third floor.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing.

The Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that the Russians were firing on the city from a S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. A total of four missile strikes were launched on residential areas.

As a result of the destruction of an apartment building, an 82-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man were injured. The body of the man’s 85-year-old mother was uncovered from under the rubble.

In total, the Russians damaged or destroyed 20 private houses, 6 high-rise buildings, a car and an outbuilding during the attack.

Update: The State Emergency Service reported at around 15:00 that rescuers had recovered the body of another person from the rubble. So far, two people have been reported dead and three more injured. There are probably two more people under the rubble.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that the police had identified the killed person as a 59-year-old local resident. He lived on the top floor of the destroyed four-storey building. An 85-year-old woman was also killed in the attack. Three people were injured: a 56-year-old man and two women aged 50 and 82.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
