Russians attack Sumy Oblast with anti-tank missiles, launching drones to drop VOG grenades

The Russians carried out 37 attacks on the border settlements of Sumy Oblast during the past day, launching FPV-type drones and dropping VOG high-explosive-fragmentation grenades.

Details: 179 strikes were recorded in total. Khotyn, Bilopillia, Krasnipillia, Miropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman and Seredyna Buda hromadas were attacked [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories - ed.].

The Russians targeted Veylka Pysarivka hromada from mortars (51 strikes), and grenade launchers (50 strikes). Attacks were carried out with an FPV-type kamikaze drone (1 strike).

Mortar attacks (9 strikes) and artillery shelling (8 strikes) were recorded in Bilopillia hromada. 

In Esman hromada, there were mortar attacks (4 strikes) and artillery strikes (13 strikes).

In Krasnopillia hromada, attacks were made using an anti-tank missile (1 strike), an FPV-type drone (8 strikes), a VOG dropped from an UAV (3 strikes) and mortars (14 strikes).

Russians also carried out mortar attacks (20 strikes) and artillery shelling (2 strikes) on Khotyn hromada from the territory of the Russian Federation.

The Russians fired on Miropillia hromada using mortars (7 strikes).

The Russians also fired on Seredyna Buda hromada from multiple-launch missile systems (8 strikes).
