Several districts in Kharkiv Oblast are experiencing problems with TV and radio signals as a result of targeted strikes by Russian drones on the telecommunication and radio infrastructure on 14 March.

Details: Syniehubov stated that as of 12:30, there were disruptions in TV and radio signals in several districts. Some of the facilities have already been restored.

He emphasised that all communication services are working on repairing damaged facilities and resuming their operation as soon as possible.

At the same time, Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration does not rule out the possibility that the Russians will launch repeated strikes.

Background: 

  • On the night of 13-14 March, the Russians launched a large-scale drone attack on television infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv Oblast. 
  • Additionally, TV and radio signals disappeared in some areas of Sumy Oblast due to a Russian missile and air strikes on radio-technical facilities, with Sumy Oblast Military Administration warning of possible disruptions in mobile communication.
