Over 800 Russian cyber attacks on Ukraine's state institutions and services since February 2022 – Prosecutor General

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Ukrainian law enforcement have documented over 800 Russia’s cyber attacks on the state institutions and services of Ukraine.

Quote: "The scale of Russia’s cyber operations against Ukraine is increasing steadfastly. Over 800 attempts of cyber attacks on state institutions and services have been documented. Among them there are power infrastructure facilities, which are constantly targeted by the enemy."

Details: The strategies of investigation of Russian cyber crimes committed against Ukraine and its partner states have also been discussed at the meeting.

Kostin revealed that the Russians were also conducting information operations with the goal of destabilising Ukrainian society and attacking telecommunication systems in order to deprive the citizens of mobile connection and Internet access.

He asked his American colleagues to share their experience and support Ukraine in efficient and comprehensive investigation of these crimes.
