Zelenskyy on latest large-scale Russian attack: 7,500 foreign components found in Russian missiles and drones
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the Russian missiles and Shahed UAVs that were used to attack Ukraine’s energy infrastructure on 22 March contained at least 7,500 foreign components.

Quote: "All these Iskanders, Kinzhals and other Russian missiles, and the Shaheds, have dozens of components imported for terror from other countries.
The missiles used in this one attack against Ukraine, against our energy system, contained at least 3,000 types of components from ten countries. Taken together with the Shaheds, that makes at least 7,500 components in total.
Each of them represents a violation of the sanctions regime against Russia, each one represents someone's attempt to make money from destroying lives. This needs to be stopped."
Details: Zelenskyy stressed that it is important for Ukraine’s partners "to act together every time missiles and drones attempt to destroy our lives, to act to reduce the potential for terror, to block it".
"This particularly concerns air defence systems, as well as sanctions", he said.
