Almost 2,000 people evacuated from Kharkiv Oblast

A total of 1,048 local residents were evacuated from Chuhuiv district over 10 May, amid the Russian offensives in Kharkiv Oblast. Moreover, 440 people from Kharkiv district, 12 from Bohodukhiv district, and 275 more people from other settlements were evacuated by volunteers.

Details: During the day, Russian airstrikes also attacked 30 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, particularly Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Berestove, and others. The settlements of Hlyboke, Lukiantsi, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Vesele, Vilcha, Lyptsi, Slobozhanske, Sosnovyi Bir and Ukrainske were also subjected to Russian airstrikes.

Three civilians were killed: a 55-year-old man was killed in the village of Cherkaski Tyshky and two more people, a man and a woman, were killed in the town of Vovchansk. Moreover, a 52-year-old, a 42-year-old man, a 60-year-old woman and another man were wounded in Vovchansk.

At 23:40 on Friday, 10 May, Russian forces bombarded the village of Lyptsi, injuring a 53-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man.
