Ukrainian air defence downs 28 out of 29 Russian attack drones overnight

The Russians bombarded Ukraine with 29 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs on the night of 20-21 May, and 28 of them were shot down.

Quote from the Air Force: "As a result of combat efforts, 28 Shahed drones were shot down in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kherson and Kirovohrad oblasts."

Details: It is reported that the Russians launched the drones from three areas: the Russian cities of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk, and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and the Ground Forces, fighter aircraft and electronic warfare units were also involved.
