Russia attacks Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight: fires and destruction reported – photos

Russian forces attacked Dnipro on the night of 16-17 February, causing a fire in one of the city's districts.

Quote from Hanzha: "The enemy is attacking Dnipro. A fire has broken out in one of the city's districts. An administrative building and a car have been damaged. Early reports indicate that there have been no casualties."
Update: Ganza added in the morning that Russian forces had attacked the region with missiles, drones, artillery and aerial bombs. Five districts were hit.

Quote from Hanzha: "Premises belonging to a company, administrative buildings, homes and cars have been damaged in Dnipro. A facility has been damaged in Kryvyi Rih. Homes have been damaged in the Krynychky hromada in the Kamianske district. A house has caught fire in the Pokrovske hromada in the Synelnykove district." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Russian troops attacked the city of Nikopol as well as the Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske hromadas in the Nikopol district, damaging infrastructure facilities, shops, an educational centre, apartment buildings and around 10 cars.

There were no casualties.
Background:
- On the night of 16-17 February, an air-raid warning was issued across Ukraine due to a Russian drone threat. Explosions rocked the cities of Odesa and Dnipro while the warning was in effect.
- Some civilian infrastructure facilities are reported to have been damaged due to the Russian attack on Odesa. Early reports indicate that three people were injured.
