Head of Zelenskyy's Office says US negotiators will visit Ukraine "about a week after Easter"

Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has announced that Kyiv is expecting the US delegation to visit next week to continue peace talks.

Details: Budanov said members of the US delegation involved in the negotiation process are likely to arrive in Ukraine "about a week" after Orthodox Easter, which falls on 12 April this year.

Budanov stressed that the negotiation process to end the war in Ukraine is not frozen, but is continuing and "will continue".

Quote: "We hope for and are awaiting the arrival of the American delegation… we hope for the best."

Background: Reuters has reported that Kremlin envoy Kirill Dmitriev is currently in the United States to discuss a potential peace deal on Ukraine and US-Russian economic cooperation with officials from the Trump administration.
