Russian troops again attempt infiltration via pipeline in Sumy Oblast: Ukrainian forces kill or injure over 50 soldiers – video

Russian forces have tried once again to infiltrate Ukrainian positions via a gas pipeline in Sumy Oblast, but the attempt has been repelled.

Quote: "You won't believe it, but it's the pipeline again. Yet another attempt to break through via a gas pipeline using light vehicles. Not the first time, nor the second, but with the same result.

The enemy attempted to infiltrate using a gas pipeline and manoeuvres on quad bikes and motorcycles.

These actions were detected and stopped in time thanks to the coordinated actions of soldiers from the 71st Airmobile Brigade and supporting units."

Details: The Russian losses amounted to 35 soldiers killed and 17 wounded. Four quad bikes and three motorcycles have been destroyed.

Background:

• Fighters from the 71st Separate Airmobile Brigade wiped out a group of Russian troops who were attempting to get behind Ukrainian lines through a gas pipeline in Sumy Oblast on 14 April.
• The brigade said this wasn't the first such attempt in the area – Russian forces had used this same route before, despite heavy losses and the obvious risks.
