Details: Sybiha noted that Ukraine supports organising a meeting between the Ukrainian president and the Kremlin leader in order to bring "new momentum" to negotiation efforts.

"We have asked the Turks, we have asked several other capitals… But if any other capital, apart from Moscow and Belarus, organises such a meeting, we will go. And this is important for us," he said.
Background:
- Last week, Sybiha said Zelenskyy was ready to meet Putin in Türkiye with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump.
- Earlier in April, Erdoğan confirmed his readiness to host the next round of talks on ending the Russo–Ukrainian war.
- Zelenskyy has also expressed hope that the United States could help end the war and urged Washington to put pressure on Russia rather than on him.
- Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president acknowledged that due to the war with Iran, the attention of the administration of US President Donald Trump and his negotiators is now focused away from negotiations on the Russo–Ukrainian war.
