Russian UAV operators working from the almost-captured Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk have been using drones to control Ukrainian troops' approaches to the village of Hryshyne. A full network of Russian drone launch sites has been deployed there.

Quote: "After building up forces in Pokrovsk, the Russians deployed a full network of launch sites there. This allowed them to create a kill zone in front of Hryshyne [between Serhiivna and Hryshyne – ed.].

There are already about a hundred Russians in the village itself and they are constantly bringing up reserves. We control the western part, and we have positions in the east and centre, but most of it is held by the katsaps [Russians].

They are moving towards Hryshyne both directly – sometimes simply along the road that starts from the petrol station near Pokrovsk – and across the fields.

They realised that this is the only front they can hold onto after Pokrovsk, so they are pushing hard. They are trying to reach Serhiivka [a village closer to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast] – ed.] through Hryshyne."

Details: Ukrainska Pravda sources said units of Russia's 41st and 51st Combined Arms armies, 90th Tank Division and 76th Air Assault Division are operating on the Hryshyne front.
