"Emergency services are working at the sites where the debris fell," he added in each of the posts.

As always, the Russian authorities did not disclose how many of the drones heading towards Moscow they had failed to intercept.

At 07:00, Rosaviatsiya announced temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports.

Exilenova+ posted videos showing drones flying over Moscow.

Exilenova+ also reported explosions and a fire in the town of Yegoryevsk and "two strikes" in Dubna in Moscow Oblast.

Dubna is home to the Kronshtadt plant, which manufactures drones, and the State Machine Building Design Bureau Raduga named after Aleksandr Bereznyak, part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation, which produces various types of cruise missiles, including the Kh-101/555, Kh-69 and Kh-59MK missiles that Russia uses in attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

Both the Kronstadt and Raduga facilities have previously been targeted by drone attacks.
