Details: The Ukrainian military said the operation was conducted by the Lasar's Group unit from the National Guard of Ukraine in collaboration with the Air Force, the Joint Forces Group and the Khartiia Corps in the area of responsibility of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard.
The planning and coordination were carried out by the Joint Forces Group and intelligence analysts from Lasar's Group.
The final targets were the main and reserve command posts of Russian forces. Before the aircraft could conduct the strike, however, Russian air defences first had to be degraded.
The military said a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system, concealed in a dense tree line, was among the key elements of the air defence covering force. Lasar's Group detected and struck the system with drones.
Ukrainian Air Force aircraft then struck the primary and reserve Russian command posts.
The 151st Separate Mechanised Brigade also joined the operation, striking targets with FPV drones.
