Zelenskyy: Intelligence indicates Russians are preparing new massive attack

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on 5 July that Ukrainian intelligence services have data indicating the Russians are preparing a new massive attack on Ukraine.

Quote: "Again, we have intelligence data on the Russians preparing a new massive strike. This is in Putin's spirit – immediately after American Independence Day and before the NATO summit in Ankara. Russia wants to add more evil and kill people. Please take care of yourselves, pay attention to the air-raid warnings."

Details: Zelenskyy separately addressed Ukraine's international partners with a call not to delay on air defence missiles: "Any delay with missiles for our air defence, with missiles for Patriots, costs lives and encourages Russia to continue fighting".

He stated that the world has the necessary quantity and quality of air defence: "Your decisions are needed for real protection of life in Ukraine. And above all, this is, of course, America's decision, the decision of the strong in Europe and the world".

Zelenskyy called for active decision-making and added that "Patriot missiles are needed not in warehouses right now, but in Patriot batteries, in Ukraine".
