The office of the We – Ukraine TV channel was damaged in the large-scale attack on Kyiv on the night of 19-20 August.

Details: Windows were blown out at the premises and the newsroom sustained significant damage. The blast wave also brought down part of the ceiling in the office's corridors.

No employees were injured.

Background:

• Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine on the night of 19-20 August using various types of missiles and 168 drones. Kyiv Oblast was the main target of the attack. Ukrainian air defences downed 186 aerial assets.
• The Russian attack has caused damage in Kyiv's Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts. As of 12:00, police reported 14 people killed and more than 40 injured in Kyiv and the oblast.
