TV channel's office damaged in Russian attack on Kyiv

The office of the We Are Ukraine TV channel was damaged in Russia's massive attack on Kyiv on the night of 19-20 August.

Details: Windows were blown out and the newsroom sustained significant damage. The blast wave also brought down part of the ceiling in the office corridors.

Fortunately, no employees were injured.

Background:

• Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine on the night of 19-20 August using various types of missiles and 168 drones. Kyiv Oblast was the main target of the attack. Ukrainian air defences downed 186 aerial assets.
• The Russian attack caused damage in Kyiv's Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts. The police reported that as of 12:00, 14 people are known to have been killed and over 40 injured in the capital and Kyiv Oblast.
