Ukraine's defence minister said he offered Fedorov to continue working on projects together
Ukrainian Defence Minister Yevhenii Khmara has stated that he proposed to former head of the ministry Mykhailo Fedorov that they find a format for continuing joint work on projects; however, he did not offer a specific position and has not received a response.

Details: Khmara clarified that he did not offer Fedorov any specific positions during their meeting in July, and has received no feedback from him so far.
At the same time, the new minister stated that he aims to retain the Ministry of Defence team to ensure continuity and continue projects that have already been launched.
Khmara also announced the strengthening of the defence industrial base and exports portfolio – Hanna Hvozdziar is to become the deputy minister responsible for this area.
The Ministry of Defence also plans to strengthen digital transformation and the cognitive warfare sector separately. A candidate with combat experience and experience working in the ministry is being considered for the digital sector, while a candidate for the cognitive warfare sector has already been selected.
Background: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that amid the conflict between Fedorov and then commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, Fedorov proposed that both of them be dismissed.
