Quote from Juraj Blanár: "We strongly condemn today's Russian attack involving a jet-powered drone on the building of the Security Service of Ukraine, which is located near the consular section of the Slovak embassy in Kyiv.

We call on Russia to refrain from actions that could endanger the lives and safety of innocent civilians. We also call on both sides to avoid further escalation that increases tensions and does not contribute to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. I have instructed that the Russian ambassador to Slovakia be summoned."

Background: On 4 September, a Russian drone struck the office of Oleksandr Poklad, acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), in the SSU building in Kyiv. The general was not in his office at the time of the strike.
