Trump's envoys hold talks with Putin for over three hours
Talks between Russian ruler Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump's representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have ended after lasting more than three hours.

Details: At 22:56, RIA Novosti reported that the talks had already been under way for more than three hours.
At 23:05, it reported that the talks had ended. The motorcade carrying the US representatives left the Kremlin grounds.
At 23:45, TASS reported that Witkoff and Kushner had arrived at Vnukovo Airport after their talks with Putin.
Putin's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev posted a photo of the US representatives by the aircraft.
Background:
- On 5 September, Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Moscow. They went to the Kremlin after a business lunch with Dmitriev. The US negotiators are expected in Kyiv on 6 September.
- On the afternoon of 5 September, the Kremlin announced that Putin has ordered that no strikes be carried out on Kyiv for three days, starting from midnight.
- After speaking with Trump's special envoys, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv is willing to halt airstrikes on the cities involved in the negotiating process.
