• The US presidential envoys arrived in Kyiv by train on 6 September and were met by President Zelenskyy at Sofiiska Square. After a tour of St Sophia Cathedral, they proceeded to the negotiations.
• In remarks to the press after the first round of negotiations, Kushner stated that Trump is firmly determined to bring an end to the war.
• Zelenskyy had previously announced that several negotiating sessions would take place in Kyiv: first with the US presidential envoys, then with the participation of negotiators from France, the UK and Germany.
• US President Donald Trump's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner left Kyiv by Ukrzaliznytsia train on the night of 6-7 September.
