Zelenskyy: European partners to join Ukrainian negotiating team in US

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Thursday 8 October that European partners will join the Ukrainian negotiating team visiting the United States on 9-10 October.

On our side will be Budanov, Kyslytsia, Arakhamiia and Umierov. Details: The president expects the negotiating team to be back in Kyiv on Monday 12 October morning to brief him on all the details.
According to Zelenskyy, various options for a sectoral ceasefire are being discussed at the talks.
Quote from Zelenskyy: "We are discussing all of them – both the sea and the energy sector. I am not yet ready to say what might be realistic or more realistic... Let's just say I don't want to say something only for Russia, as usual, to do the exact opposite out of spite."
Details: He added that air defence would also be discussed with the US side, while bringing forward financing would be discussed with the Europeans.
