In temporarily occupied Henichesk in the Kherson region, Russians have started giving out "pensions" in Russian rubles.

According to Khlan: "After lists were drawn up last week, actual payments of 10,000 rubles (around 100 US dollars) have started in Henichesk. People are standing in queues and are already being given cash. It is true that all the ruble traffic ends up at the currency traders, where pensioners immediately exchange their rubles for hryvnias.

I would like to remind you that if you do not cooperate with the occupiers and do not take anything from them, it will speed up our victory."

Details: Shops in the city are refusing to accept Russian currency, MOST writes.

According to the official exchange rate, 10,000 Russian rubles is a little more than 100 US dollars.

Khlan also said that on 27 March in Henichesk "the military registration and enlistment office, where the occupiers were based, was blown up", allegedly.

"Henichesk residents are resisting - and this is just the beginning of the partisan movement in the Kherson region," the regional council deputy claimed.
