According to the General Staff: "In order to replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, units of the 4th (Tskhinvali district, South Ossetia) and 7th (Abkhazia) military bases, which form part of the Southern Military District, have been transferred from the occupied territories of Georgia to the territory of Ukraine.

3 BTGs [battalion tactical groups] with a total number of up to 1,200 Russian and Ossetian soldiers were formed and sent to Ukraine from the 4th military base. 2 BTGs were formed from the units of the 7th military base, which is about 800 people."

Details: In the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, the Russian troops continue to commit illegal acts against the local residents.

For example, units of the Russian occupying forces scattered throughout the village of Velyka Bilozirka and placed military equipment and machinery among people’s homes.

The invading troops set up checkpoints and strengthened the bypass regime on the outskirts of the city of Melitopol.

Russian troops continue to loot the houses and apartments of local residents, detain pro-Ukrainian activists and Ukrainian government officials.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, the authorities of the occupying forces plan to hold another wave of mobilisation from 1 April this year. It is possible that such efforts will be made in the recently occupied territories of the region as well.

According to available information, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to experience problems with staffing.

Thus, after their participation in the war with Ukraine, conscripts from the 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division are submitting reports requesting to terminate their contracts and send them to a permanent location for further service.

The United Forces of the Ukrainian army have repulsed 4 attacks by the Russian occupiers over the past 24 hours on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts.

Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 7 tanks, 7 armoured units, 2 automobile equipment units, and an anti-tank gun. The Russian side also suffered personnel losses.
