According to Haidai: "The Zolote attack was repulsed, but the enemy has now shelled every city in the Luhansk region.

No critical infrastructure facilities, in fact no infrastructure at all, remains intact in our region. Do the Russians know about this? Yes, they have informants who direct fire at crowded stores and food storage facilities. Every instance of shelling on residential infrastructure is a targeted attack. ‘Russian peace’ is depriving people of their homes.

The Russians stormed the area near Zolote, then retreated and began firing on houses.

High-rise [apartment] buildings and private houses have been damaged in Lysychansk, Sievierodonetsk, Zolote, and Kreminna. Hectares of dry grass caught fire near Kreminna in the wake of Russian shelling – this added to the rescue workers’ workload."

Details: Earlier it was reported that a private hospital and a school in Sievierodonetsk and a sports facility in Zolote had been destroyed.

According to Haidai’s information, four Russian attacks were repulsed on the front line in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions: 5 Russian tanks, 8 armoured vehicles, 6 combat vehicles, and 8 artillery systems were destroyed.

Background: Russia continues a concerted offensive in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in order to capture Donbas and control as much of Ukraine’s territory in the south and east of the country as possible and to control a land route from occupied Crimea to the Russian border.
