According to the General Staff: "The enemy continues to carry out missile and bomb strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. They are also actively engaged in air reconnaissance activities.

The Russian Federation has implemented the so-called "yellow-level terrorist threat" in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and areas near the border with Ukraine until 26 April.

They are probably aiming with this to facilitate the coordination and relocation of military equipment, weapons and personnel to the territory of Ukraine."

Details: Russian occupying forces continue to deploy so-called "volunteers" in Ukraine.

According to the existing information, a 400-strong battalion was formed in the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation. It comprises exclusively military personnel with combat experience, and was deployed in Ukraine to reinforce a unit of the 42nd Motorised Rifle Division of the 58th All-Army.

On the Siverskyi front, separate units in the areas of the Kursk region in Russia that border Ukraine might be deployed to conduct demonstration actions in order to distract the Ukrainian forces.

On the Slobozhanskyi front, Russian troops continue to partially blockade and carry out artillery shelling on the city of Kharkiv. They are making efforts to form units of the so-called "people’s militia" in some of the temporarily occupied territories of the region.

On the Donetsk and Tavriia fronts, Russian troops continue to carry out air strikes on Mariupol. They are mounting an offensive operation near the Azovstal plant and the seaport.

On the Pivdennyi Bug front, Russia is attempting to capture several towns and villages, but has not succeeded so far.

Ukrainian soldiers repulsed 6 Russian attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroyed 2 units of automobile equipment, and 3 Russian artillery systems.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Russian Su-25 plane.

The Russian army has significantly reduced the use of aircraft due to the current weather conditions.
