Kherson Mayor: Kherson empties as residents leave for Crimea

Mayor of Kherson said that Kherson residents are leaving the Russian-occupied city for the Russian-annexed Crimea, as well as to the Ukrainian cities of Mykolayiv and Melitopol.

According to Kolykhaiev: "They created a Telegram channel and are leaving [Kherson] in three directions, but at their own risk.

Groups of 3-4 people are gathering in cars and leaving our city. It’s very painful to look at, because the city is becoming empty."

Details: Kolykhaiev added that there are problems with medicine provision and budget payments for the municipal needs in Kherson.
