Regions: East is under fire, Kherson region being shelled, Russians not letting people out Mariupol

On the night of 14 April, Russian troops continued to fire on the Kherson region, Kharkiv and Izyum. The cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions are under constant fire. Russians are not letting civilians leave the blockaded city of Mariupol.

Details: Kharkiv: shelling continued in the city all night, information about the victims is being clarified.  10 wounded and 4 civilians dead in the region in one day. 

Fighting is taking place in Izyum.

Luhansk region: constant shelling by mortars and multiple rocket launcher systems. The most difficult situation is in Zolote.

Despite the lack of humanitarian corridors, 400 people have been evacuated.

In the Donetsk region, Russian troops continue to attack the entire front line: there is shelling of Avdiivka, Ocheretynska territorial hromada (community), Marinka, and Toretsk hromada (community).

11 civilians were wounded within one day.

Residential buildings and infrastructure were destroyed along the line of demarcation. 34 objects were reduced to rubble in 24 hours  (including 22 residential buildings).

The situation in Mariupol has not changed: the blockade and shelling by aircraft and artillery continue. The Russians are not letting people out of the city.

Explosions and shelling were heard in the Kherson region last night. In particular in the area of Chornobaivka. The results of this are being clarified.

Russian soldiers continue to loot in the region, and the humanitarian crisis is intensifying.

The night was relatively calm in the regions of Volyn, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy. 

Background: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian troops were continuing to launch systematic missile and bomb strikes on military and civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
