General Staff report: Russian occupying forces attempt to seize Popasna and Rubizhne without success

In the Luhansk region, the Russian military has been unsuccessful in its attempts to capture the settlements of Popasna and Rubizhne.

Details: In the Volyn and Polissia fronts, some units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus perform tasks to cover the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Brest and Gomel regions.

The situation on the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi front directions hasn’t changed.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian occupying forces are trying to fortify equipment positions, replenish stocks of weapons, military equipment, ammunition, and fuel. They conduct reconnaissance with unmanned aerial vehicles.

On the Donetsk and Tavriia fronts, the main efforts of the Russian Federation were focused on attempts to seize the settlements of Popasna and Rubizhne. They were not successful. 


In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, eight enemy attacks were repulsed in the past 24 hours. Four tanks, six armoured personnel carriers, four infantry fighting vehicles, and one Russian artillery system were destroyed.
