Skadovsk: Russian military has taken down Ukrainian flags

On the morning of 15 April, in Skadovsk, Kherson Region, the Russian military removed Ukrainian flags from the City Council building in the city centre and hung up the Russian tricolour flags.

Details: Yakovliev emphasised that such an action on the part of Russian troops mean that Russia is fully responsible for everything that happens in the city and community.

Quote: "Skadovsk City Council will not cooperate with the occupiers, so from today onwards no executive committee employee will work in the building under the aggressor’s flag. Regardless of external circumstances, our service to Ukraine, our hometown and its community continues". 

Background: The flag of the Russian Federation was raised over the city administration of Oleshky in the Kherson region.
