Farewell ceremony for the sunken Moskva in Russia-annexed Crimea

In the Crimean city of Sevastopol annexed by Russia, a farewell ceremony has taken place for the Moskva missile-cruiser, which sank in the Black Sea on Thursday, 14 April.

Details: The ceremony was attended by Navy veterans and a priest.

A ribbon on one of the mourning wreaths was inscribed with the words "To the ship and the sailors."

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that the crew of the sunken cruiser had been evacuated – without, however, specifying how many people were on board.
