Verbatim: "We have received confirmation that two of our employees who disappeared in early March have passed away."

Details: These employees stayed in the Ecopark and helped feed the animals when the war broke out.

Verbatim: "We did not find them in the Ecopark when we arrived there on March 7. We searched for them for a long time. We engaged the help of law enforcement officers. We hoped till the last moment that no disaster had happened, and they had managed to survive."

"However, yesterday we received confirmation that their bodies had been found. Our mates had been shot by our enemies and their bodies were barricaded in a utility room."

Background: On March 8, Ecopark’s founder and owner, the Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Feldman stated that on March 7 the aggressors shot and killed two volunteers who came to the Feldman Ecopark to feed the animals.

On April 5, Feldman stated that the Ecopark had been almost entirely destroyed due to massive Russian shelling, and that it was impossible to transport animals, so they would have to put them down.

However, all the animals from Kharkiv "Feldman" Ecopark were later evacuated to safe places.
