Details: It is reported that Pushylin said that "after reaching the borders of Donetsk region" it is necessary to begin "the next stage of the operation, taking into account what is happening in Transnistria and the shelling of the Russian border regions with Ukraine."

At the same time, the militia leader said that "Azovstal" would be rebuilt, but "perhaps not as a plant."

They are allegedly "discussing it now with the residents of Mariupol."

Background:

  • A series of explosions occurred in the capital of the unrecognised Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (TMR) at around 17:45 on 25 April.
  • Ukrainian intelligence reports that a few days ago, unrecognised Transnistria began preparing for "explosions" organised by the FSB [Russian Federal Security Service] to justify the war with Ukraine or to involve the "Transnistrian Moldavian Republic (TMR)" in hostilities in the war against Ukraine.
  • On 26 April, the so-called Ministry of Internal Affairs of Transnistria reported that two explosions were heard in the village of Maiac, Grigoriopol District on the morning of 26 April.
