Certain units of Belarusian Armed Forces continue to carry out tasks as part of the order to reinforce the security of the border with Ukraine.

No changes in activity or personnel among units of Russian troops on the Siverskyi front

On the Slobozhanskyi front, Russian troops continued to concentrate their efforts on holding their existing positions near Kharkiv and to try and inflict fire damage on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

No offensive operations on the Izyum front. Russian troops’ main efforts were focused on conducting reconnaissance, identifying the positions of Ukraine’s Defence Forces units and deploying artillery to inflict damage on them.

On the Donetsk and Tavriia fronts, Russian troops are trying to prevent the regrouping of Ukrainian troops by firing on their positions from artillery, mortars, and multiple rocket launchers along the entire line of contact.

Russian occupiers continue blockading units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian occupation regime continues to limit the movement of and detain local residents, and to prevent the delivery of Ukrainian humanitarian aid.

In addition, Russian occupiers are stealing from village residents. For example, more than 60 tons of wheat and a truck were stolen from a farm in Kamyanka-Dniprovska.

On 28 April, 15 air targets were hit by Ukrainian Defence Forces: 1 plane, 5 cruise missiles, and 9 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles.

Ukrainian defence troops are actively manoeuvring and even counter-attacking in some places. In Donetsk and Luhansk regions alone, 9 Russian attacks have been repulsed in the past 24 hours, and 6 Russian tanks, 1 artillery system, 12 units of armoured equipment, 1 car, and 1 anti-aircraft gun have been destroyed.
