Berdiansk: Russian occupiers announce transfer of pensions and salaries in rubles

Russian media report that Russian-occupied Berdiansk in the Zaporizhzhia region is preparing to switch to the payment of pensions and salaries in Russian rubles.

Background: 30 April is the 36th day of the full blockade of Berdiansk.
What preceded: On 29 April, the Berdiansk City Council announced that 95% of pensions in March in Berdiansk had been paid. However, the average level of payments in the district is about 25%. The Ukrainian government is working to pay pensions for April and the rest of pensions for March. This is one of the most pressing and difficult issues today, the City Council said.
