Details: Ukraine is still experiencing strong pressure in cyberspace from Russian hackers, but it is likely that their potential has already reached its maximum. They have already demonstrated all the available tools and technologies.

The State Service says that, due to sanctions, Russian hackers will not be able to develop as they did before.

However, the State Special Communications Service emphasises that Russian hackers are still a serious threat to the whole world. They should not be underestimated, but neither should they be overestimated.

They are highly qualified and motivated to attack not only Ukraine but also other democracies, although they have faced certain constraints in terms of resources and material.

Why this is important: This information means that the Russians will no longer hit Ukrainian cyberspace harder than they attacked before the war and have done since the beginning of the war.

Meanwhile, Ukraine maintains its defence in cyberspace and is not experiencing significant disruptions in the operation of any platforms.

Background: Microsoft has reported that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, at least six groups of Russian hackers have carried out about 240 attacks against Ukrainian digital resources.
