Russians have wounded 643 children in Ukraine, 226 of whom have died

More than 643 children have been wounded in Ukraine due to full-scale armed aggression by Russia. The number of dead has not changed in the last 24 hours – 226, but the number of wounded has increased to 417.

According to the GPU: "As of the morning of 11 May, the official number of child victims has not changed – 226. The number of wounded has increased to 417. These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, and in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories."

Details: Most children were injured in Donetsk (139), Kyiv (116), Kharkiv (99), Chernihiv (68), Kherson (46), Luhansk (45), Mykolaiv (44), Zaporizhia (28), Sumy (17), Zhytomyr (15) oblasts and Kyiv (16).

In particular, on 9 May, as a result of shelling by the occupiers of a residential area, a 13-year-old boy was injured in Lysychansk, Luhansk region.

As a result of the daily bombing and shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, 1,657 educational institutions have been damaged, 139 of which have been completely destroyed.
