Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration: Russian troops try to break through Sumy border, the battle continues

The Russian military has tried to break through the border in the Sumy region. The battle continues in the northern Shostka district.

Quote from Zhyvytskyi: "The battle continues in the north of the Shostka district, where there is an ongoing attempt to break through the state border in the Seredyna-Budy district.

There are fires along the border caused by shelling."

Details: The Head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration stated that shelling of the Sumy Oblast from Russian territory has not stopped since the morning of 17 May.

5 strikes have been recorded in the Esman area, as well as around 70 explosions near the village of Boiaro-Lezhachi, and 6 explosions near the village of Sopych.
