The head of the Luhansk Oblast State Administration, Serhii Haidai, said that on May 19, 37 people were taken out of Sievierodonetsk under shelling.

Today, the evacuation was extremely difficult. The Russians are firing heavily at Sievierodonetsk, so you can't raise your head, but the patrol policemen were still able to get the residents of Sievierodonetsk out. In Lysychansk, they were fully equipped and were waiting for people to be given a ride from Bilohorivka (the police broke through by car and took away the villagers), and then a risky journey awaited them along the Lysychansk-Bakhmut road. Lucky again."
Details: Haidai estimated that 37 people were rescued on May 19, five of them children, four cats, two dogs and two guinea pigs.
