Teenager dies under Lyman shelling - Russians have already killed 232 children

According to official data from youth prosecutors, at least 232 children have been killed and 427 injured as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

Details: On 18 May, a teenager died as a result of shelling by Russian forces of the civilian infrastructure of the city of Lyman in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk Oblast.

As of the morning of 20 May, at least 659 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the actions of the Russian military. These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places where active hostilities are taking place, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Children in the following Oblasts have suffered the most: Donetsk – 145, Kyiv – 116, Kharkiv – 100, Chernihiv – 68, Kherson – 48, Luhansk – 47, Mykolaiv – 44, Zaporizhzhia – 28, Sumy – 17, Zhytomyr – 15. In the city of Kyiv, 16 minors have been affected by the war.

1,837 educational institutions have been damaged due to the bombing and shelling of Ukrainian towns and villages by the Russian armed forces. Of these, 172 of them have been completely destroyed.
