Luhansk Oblast: another 22 people evacuated from Lysychansk

Another 22 residents of Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast, including three children, were evacuated today.

Details: It is reported that over the course of the day police officers and military personnel were accompanying people to the designated evacuation assembly point, after which the residents were evacuated to Donetsk Oblast on a special State Emergency Service armoured vehicle.

All of the evacuees will be transported further to safer regions of Ukraine at a later point.

Earlier: On Saturday, 11 June, 30 civilians were evacuated from Luhansk Oblast, including three children.

Serhii Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, said that "Lysychansk residents are frightened by the events in Sievierodonetsk and are now agreeing to leave their homes."
