The officially confirmed number of children killed in the war in Ukraine (323) has not changed in the last 24 hours, but the number of injured minors has increased to 586.

Details: An 8-year-old girl was injured on 19 June as a result of shelling by Russian forces in the town of Zalizne, Donetsk Oblast.

A shell hit a pond where two children aged 13 and 14 were swimming on 19 June in Izyum district, Kharkiv region, and exploded. The children sustained shrapnel wounds.

In total, at least 909 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. These figures are not final as efforts are underway to establish them in the areas where active hostilities are taking place and in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

According to the data available, the largest number of children has suffered in the Donetsk Oblast (302), Kharkiv Oblast (173), Kyiv Oblast (116), Chernihiv Oblast (68), Luhansk Oblast (54), Kherson Oblast (52), Mykolayiv Oblast (48), Zaporizhzhia Oblast (30) and Sumy Oblast (17).
