Quote from Marchenko: "This evening, on one of the beaches of Odesa Oblast, once again an enemy anti-ship mine was washed ashore and detonated. Fortunately, no one was injured.

I would like to reiterate the ban on visiting beaches and swimming in the sea."

Details: At the same time, journalist Olga Godovenko, with reference to the Police Department of Yuzhne, reported that the mine washed ashore near one of the Sychavka’s recreation centres.

"The mine detonated upon the arrival of the military, rescuers, and police. Thank God no one came close. The explosion was spontaneous. The blast wave took out four windows and damaged the roller shutters of a cottage a hundred metres from the explosion," she said.
