Quote from Bratchuk: "The night in Odesa and the oblast was marked by air-raid sirens, but no shelling.

On the southern front, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out four artillery and air strikes on enemy positions. Several pieces of military equipment and ammunition depots were destroyed and a number of personnel were killed. Enemy casualties are still being specified.

Details: For their part, Russian Black Sea Fleet ships are trying to gain dominance in the Black Sea and establish control over its northwestern part.

The Russian military is also carrying out activities to strengthen the defensive capacity of Zmiinyi (Snake) Island, Bratchuk added.

"Against this background, proposals by our allies and partners to strengthen Ukraine's coastal defence with anti-ship missiles and different types of weapons look very optimistic," he said.

According to Bratchuk, "at least one occupier is killed every five minutes in Ukraine."
