Russians launch new strikes on civilians in Donetsk region: there are fatalities

On Monday, the Russians shelled Toretsk and Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast. There are civilian casualties.

Details: As of 13:30, Toretsk is known to have been shelled twice. One shell hit the territory of a dispensary, the other — a garage.  In Bakhmut, a rocket hit a sports complex, damaging the stands and their premises and an indoor arena.

Quote: "There is continuous artillery shelling of Siversk and Avdiivka and of settlements in the Chasovoiarsk, Illinivsk and Sviatohirsk Amalgamated Territorial Communities.

Houses and infrastructure facilities are being damaged.  Raihorodok was shelled with Uragan [Hurricane - ed.] cluster projectiles — bomb disposal experts are working at the scene."

Details: Kyrylenko confirmed civilian casualties. The number of dead will be announced in the evening.

Reminder: 

•       The American Institute for the Study of War reported that the Russians are allegedly increasing artillery and missile strikes west of Bakhmut to isolate the city from communication lines.
•       Over the past day, at least 2 residents have been killed and 5 injured in Donetsk Oblast as a result of Russian shelling.
