Russia uses MLRS and mortars to attack Sumy Oblast

On Wednesday, 13 July, Russian occupying forces fired at the hromadas [amalgamated territorial communities - ed.] in Sumy Oblast using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) and mortars.

Details: Zhyvytskyi reported that at noon on 13 July, Russian occupying forces used MLRS to conduct over 20 attacks on the villages in the Druzhba and Seredyna-Buda hromadas.

"There were 20 ‘arrivals’ in just the last hour," Zhyvytskyi said at the time.

Soon after 13:00, the Russians opened mortar fire at the Krasnopillia hromada, hitting it over 19 times.

After 14:00, six bombs exploded in the Shalyhyne hromada as a result of another Russian mortar attack.
